Is there a head count yet on who from TC will be at Mondo? I would like to know who to look for. Or who to avoid!

MONDO Menudo!!
Hey Dr. Z, can you e-mail me what to get exact? And, where to get it? Names etc.? You should bottle it and sell/trade it out to us. I need a batch for MONDO Tiki! (5 nights worth!)

Just got back from Vegas tonight and be warned to check the weather before you head up there... it was downright chilly cold at night. bring sweaters - or just plan on drinking alot

I'll opt for the latter, sweaters make me look fat.
I'm gonna need a batch of that too Doc.

If anyone wants to go to any bars that aren't Taboo Cove here's my recommendations. You may find me at any of these watering holes throughout the weekend (on Thursday night for sure and other nights only if I can tear myself away from the bands at the Gold Coast), but you won't find me at Taboo Cove.
(warning: current existance of these bars unknown)
Sky Lounge at the polo towers (swanky old-style lounge with great views):

Pogo's Tavern, especially on Friday nights for seeing big band jazz veterans:

The Dispensary Lounge, complete with water wheel:

The Peppermill Lounge for 70s porn fantasies:

Algiers Cocktail Lounge, 2845 Las Vegas Blvd. S., 735-3311 The googiest bar in town.
Atomic Liquor Store, 917 Fremont St., 384-7371. Dive in seedy neighborhood with great neon sign and pretty good CD jukebox.
The Double Down Saloon, near the Hard Rock:

Champagne's Cafe, classic lounge w/ 45 jukebox and red flocked wallpaper:

For anyone who is on the fence about attending Mondo Tiki... Here's something to sweeten the pot.
Sven Kirsten will be gracing us as a special guest performer with Cherry Capri and the Thurston Howlies as the honorary 'bird caller' during their rendition of "Quiet Village."
This will truly be an historical occasion that should not be missed...
Also sitting in with the band will be Crazy Al (from the band, Ape) and Iuka Grogg from the Mai Kai Gents!

I can't wait to get out there. I will definately be at the Cove with the elusive Lapu Rocker, and my business partner Kika around the same time as Pop. Hula, we gotta make sure my lady friend is bartending again. That worked out pretty well last time. I loved that green drink with the schwazz at the bottom. What was that called?
We really have to try to get them to get the music right this time. Rage Against the Machine and Missy da Misdamenor Elliot just doesn't set the mood right.
C'mon, Mondo is the same weekend as Viva! Can't they see what the people want!
.....sorry, I think I need to lay down. I'm way too stoked about this weekend.
