That is TOO cool! Wonderful, clean work! But I want to hear it, too! Think you can get it over to the computer, put a mic in the sound card and record a WAV of it?? (on bended knee) PLEASE??!!

It looks amazing Ona. How much wood did you remove from the drum. I have never seen one before and seeing yours has me thinking I would like to try and carve one some day.

Beautiful finish on that drum...I bet it sounds as beautiful as it looks. That white really makes the design stand out and gives the drum an awesome contrast. Very well done....
THere's a mask in there too...on some ply...that one of yours too? - looks cool!

Thanks for all the compliments guys!! It keeps me inspired.
Polynesiac, good eye on the mask. Here is the finished piece. Just needs to be aged a bit.
I am carving a couple more masks and then I am out of logs!!! Need to find more. Got to feed my jones. I got a tiki on my back man!!!
