It has been an extremely difficult month for my family. My father, Roger Orzol was diagnosed with Mesothelioma on December 23rd and succumbed to this illness at 12:45 a.m. February 1.
My father was able to attend the last Sacramento crawl in October and was registered as "Pyscho Tiki D's Dad". He has a great time meeting everyone there and was in awe of every host who participated and opened their homes up for this event.
Too short a time for his family. We will and do miss him very much.
Here is the link to his obituary:

See you soon Dad!

I feel very blessed to have met your Dad, Duane, it was great to have him attend our crawl. Your family is to be admired for the wonderful support of your Dad during his illness and passing. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Duane, my condolences and sympathies to you and your family. I am so glad that I was able to meet your very charismatic father at the Sac Tiki Crawl last year, I enjoyed talking with him at the Mandarin, at Matt's and then again at Dan & Wendy's pad. He was a cool dude.

I can't believe Whitney has received more coverage than Etta James.

Guitarist Ernest "Ernie" McLean, who performed daily at New Orleans Square in Disneyland for more than 30 years, passed away at the age of 87. He was the last person personally hired by Walt Disney, chosen to substitute for the banjo player in the newly-formed Royal Street Bachelors trio.
Previous to his employment at Disneyland, he played guitar professionally for many years including with Fats Domino and played guitar on his first hit , “The Fat Man” in 1949.
