Tama - You got it! that is exactly what I was trying to create. This piece is not for sale - purely for exhibit - I have selfishly opted to keep this one as I rarely get to express one for me - most of my work is commissioned to appeal to the client. I get a little sad selling all my work so ITS MINE ALL MINE!! - wife says PM her and she will discuss a price.

**Jumping back to the flying eye: Fair enuff too!!! There's nothing wrong with keeping the odd piece that has that Kapow! X-factor going on; there will never be another quite like it & can always be thought of as a nest-egg or emergency sale piece.
As for bending yourself/your art to suit the customer; this has been on my mind lately. Its a tough one to avoid & another good reason to hang on to 'your' work!
I wont be contacting your wife for a price - Im sure it is (deservedly) way out of my Xmas budget Just curious...
Cant wait to see your next offering!

Looking fine as always Marcus, it's pretty cool to see you tackling something a litlle smaller. What sort of wood are you using? Looks like it's quite hard?
Nice shot of your tatt too (!), is that a lil' Ryden style Marquesan I can see banging away there?

Really nice, your mate may be very happy.
How was the shape of your piece of wood before sculpting? Like a log?
What kind of wood is it?
I have the pix of this masterpiece since i've seen it.
I know this will influence me.
Benjamin.
