Cool stuff, GMAN. I like how "severe" the carving style is on this guy.

Art, Sam, and Moondance,

Thanks for the support guys. I appreciate your taking the time to send on some motivation for me. I need it.

I'll be working on this one all day tomorrow. It has to be ready for shipment at the end of the month. I would like to finish it off this weekend if possible. I'll post pics tomorrow evening and we'll see how far I get.

Nice work! & Mahalo! Hawaii needs more bold Tikis like yours. One in front of every home would suffice. Please....in fact everyone... carve faster!

Congrats on sending one off to the islands . I hope that you get to deliver it in person. The V cut on the headress is really nice . Great clean lines as always .

Rodeo,

I did the small stuff on the headdress and eyes with my Dremel. I've had it for nearly 25 years. It barely works anymore - kinda like me! Everything else was done with the chainsaw and hit with the angle grinder. Thanks for posting.

Another top notch piece. The detail work really brings another level to what you've got going. Cool tribal on the headpiece too.

YES< Nice Clean looking tiki. I too, love the design on the headdress and the smooth sanding job. You will find that those 2 things will really be popular amongst your fans. Way to go.

McT,

I'm curious about how they would look in ebony stain too, however, these are for other people who want the red to show. Soon I will stain one for myself.
