Benno - Yeah, it is right around that size. I've not measured it. The ficus/rubber wood is ok, but I would rather have some black walnut.

Surfin - Hey man, how you is?

Freak - No....

Bowana - The simple things are generally the most fun. Thanks for dropping by!

Seeks - Ahoy! How are you? Love that frog.

Benella - Shoez and Chipz. That's how we roll......

Mooney - Thanks for the support. More progress below....

JohnnyP - I'm not sure about the "action" part, but I am back to the toolz.

BidDaddy - My carving station is where I happen to be at the time.

Sam - I don't know if Gman can do abstract?

Here are some pics of today's progress:

Benella - I know you were That club is for you - keep in mind I left a lot of extra wood there...the club will get more refined as the rest of him takes shape.

GMan is the King of Butts isn't he? Great progress pics. If you
scroll through the pics at the right speed it seems to turn around...
sorta like those flip-motion books that used to come with Cracker Jacks.
Maybe it's just me.

Benno - "Chiseled butt, nice full lines" All things I'm aiming for, plus a nice round full feel. We'll see. Thanks.

Tmango - Thanks. The deep elbow cut is standard equipment on many Maori Tekotekos.

Seeks - I know, I can be a tightass sometimes.

Babs! - That albino g8tr wouldn't last long around here.

Conga - Cracker Jacks? I dunno if I like the title of King of Butts. Not my thing mang.

Creative Chimp - I think he's been working out...

Thanks for looking guys. No carving this weekend

Dude...I always amazes me how much you see in the wood before carving....When I look at your stuff, I feel so mentally challenged. Really cool GMAN! Can't wait to see how amazing this one comes out. I gotta rock on over there soon.
