Unga & Traitor,
Thanks for listening! And Vic, those CDs you made for Hukilau are just excellent -- thanks again!
Coming up this week I'll be dipping into some new stuff I just picked up, including serious moaning and groaning from the 101 strings' "Adults Only" LP, Arthur Lyman and Waitiki in the exotica sets, and an explaination of just what the hell is going on in those "talking steel guitar" songs of Pete Drake.
Stay tuned!

Amazing Program as usual!!! Really amazing stuff!
Had to listen at home this week 'cause other folks at work decided it was time, already, to start listening to Christmas Music. I, of course, think that any listening to music such as that is "Pushing the Season" a bit if done before Thanksgiving but it appears that most of America cares for Thanksgiving only as a chance to eat a lot.
Mahalo Glen Leslie!!!

O.K. I must be a little stupid. When I download it it is a .ram file. (I'm on a mac.) itunes opens, but nothing happens. I drag it to the itunes window and nothing happens. Do I need to download a different player to get it to work? Whassup?

Spy-tiki,
Funny you asked this. Just today, I wrote to the tech people at KFAI asking if we had other streams available. Unfortunately, right now we're using real audio. I know, Iknow...
In any case, I'm not a complete whiz on this myself, but I have a mac at home and what I did was download real audio for Mac, and put the real audio icon in the dock. Then when the ram file pops up, I drag it onto the real audio icon and it launches real audio and plays. Unfortunately not the smoothest solution, but it works for me.
Perhaps others with Macs can chime in here.
Someday, if the corporate misers allow, we'll be able to podcast the shows. Until then, streaming is the only way.
I hope you can get it playing.... I, Zombie
