But I feel like Paipo, enough time is always a problem.
Sadly, I posted not often, but I relish the time at TC.
It gives me endless inspirations and fresh impetus.

Aloha!
I was bussy in the last week and so I have some new pictures for you.
I created a marquesan tiki out from cottonwood. The tiki is about 20 inch high.
After I colored it with moorbrown wood stain, I polished the little fellow with Wax.
So the wood got a nice pattern and polishe.
This Tiki will be one of my contribution for the London LuauŽs "Tiki Art Show".
I hope youŽll enjoy my latest pictures and the little black dwarf.
Greetings from Bavaria, Haikai

Thanks a lot guys! Very nice compliments!
IŽll do my best on the next tiki to get them again.
benella, the London Luau will take place from 8th to 10th June.
Sadly, I wonŽt be there, because happily IŽll spend my holidays in your beautiful country.
IŽll spend 2 weeks at the Atlantic Ocean in the near of Sulac sur Mer (80 km above Bordeaux).
But I can approve you to visit the London Luau. Last year it was a realy great and HOT party.
Here is the link: London Luau

Everything you do really taps into the classic era poly-pop vibe Haikai. They all look like they could have stepped out of one of those vintage postcards from one of the legendary locations. Great to see this guy hanging free and proud too - more tikis need to be packin'.

Aloha guys!
Paipo, thanks for the compliment.
This time, in Bavaria the spring is very early. Last year we had at the same time lots of snow
and now itŽs like summer. So IŽm realy motivated and bussy at my tiki garage. No more cold fingers!
Long time ago I told you from the "tiki silver ring", which I want to create in cooperation with
Jeweler Kurzan from Munich. Finally, I found the time and figured out the wax model.
Here you can see the first step of the tiki ring.
In March, I carved a little pendant for my buddy Michael (ramba-zamba).
I created the tiki face out of a old piece of cherry wood. The wood has a beautiful texture and color
and a crack above the left eye. After sanding, I polisched it with wax.
The happy guys!
And at last, here are some pictures of my latest work. I figured out a tiki plaster model for a key fob,
which I want to use for making a mold. Than IŽll try to cast it in synthetic resin.
Mahalo, Haikai

Hey HaiKai, I Really love that cottonwood marquesan you did, it really has a Presence!
Explain the story of all that Beautiful stickered wood in the background of all his pictures. Looks like a Whole Warehouse full of it there and between that and the tiki my drool rate is Full Blast! Is it for carving or wood turning? And THEN you had to go throw that beautiful Maori Wax Master and the drool is in full gear. But do you stop There? NO Way you say, You have a beautiful cherry pendant and then a plaster key fob to throw at us. I Can't STAND it, it's Way too much! What else you got?
Don't forget the envious stacks of wood..
