Come and see how the natives live in Tucson!
Mr cheeky half and I would like to invite all of the tc'ers coming into town over to our place for a pre-Kon Tiki cocktail on Saturday April 22nd between 4pm and 8pm. Stacey, the lovely and talented wife of the infamous Doug Horne, will be mixing her Famous Painkillers. Our house is about 2 minutes from the Kon Tiki so people could drop in on their way to the party, which officially starts at 8:00. If you're interested in stopping by PM me and I will send you our address.
lucas vigor, I asked Louie about kids, and he said that unfortunately the event was going to have to be only for people 21 and over.

Bummer! I've got to work all day Friday, and can't leave until late Friday (after 7pm), or possibly very early Saturday. Unless someone from SoCal is willing to leave late and carpool with me, I don't think I'll be able to make it as I don't really want to make the drive by myself.
Anyone willing to pick me up some souvenirs? Is the special mug available only to people with space reserved or can someone pick me up one? Better yet, is someone willing to carpool with me?
PM me if you are....

I just wanted to recommend Plaza Liquors here in Tucson for those of you who will need to make booze runs. It's not the closest liquor store to Smugglers or KT, but they have the best selection. If you do your planning in advance, you can call them now to make sure they have what you want in stock. If they don't have it, they are very good about placing special orders. They also offer a 5% discount when you buy 6 bottles of wine or liquor.
Plaza Liquors
2642 N Campbell Ave
Tucson, 85719 - (520) 327-0452

WoooHooooo!!!!!!!!! Flying to Tucson Tuesday Morning !!!!!!! I can't wait to soak up some rays at the pool (of the Smuggler's Inn) draining the Lapu Pitcher dry!!! There are a lot of things to see and places to go in the Tucson area!!! Every day will be a new adventure! From the Pima Air Museum to Tombstone to the Tiki Motel to Sabina Canyon to the Moai Miniature Golf and other parts unknown! (Of course starting at the Plaza Liquor Store!!!) Ending with the Grand Finale....party at the KonTiki!!! ONLY 7 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
