Jeff I will bring that light to your house on sunday.
You should see it lit!
I will try to post pictures of these lights lit sometime.
Still have more lights almost done.

I love this lamp. What a great twist on the float lamp.

Yeah, Teakey your right.
Want to make some outa bamboo one day.
The wreath on the door was one dollar.
I guess white plastic is out o style.

Here's a new light and the painting
Robb Hamel did for me.
My wife had Robb do this as a christmas gift.
To see Robbs great velvets go here.

Thank you Stacy!!
Looks like they went to a nice home.
And thank you Tim as well!

At times you find a bottom and need to make a top.
As seen here.

Wow Skip, your basket sculpting and weaving, rope tie-ing and aging skills are truly impressive! I would not be able to tell these ligths apart from vintage ones if you tested me!

Thank you very much Sven.
Coming from the guy who wrote the book
that is a huge compliment!
Plus that is my goal to make my lights
look like they came from one of the tiki joints
of old.
If there is one person that knows these places inside
and out it is certainly you!!
Thanks again.

That rum company should hire you to make these lamps from their bottles - a promotional give-away or something like that. VERY cool. Too bad Sailor Jerry's bottles have the paper wrapper instead of the screened print on the glass - THAT would be a really cool lamp too!

Good idea!
Wont be long now.
