There is no climate control in my yard or my house that supports any kind of planting. Plants commit suicide upon entry onto my property. I have some nice plastic plants, and they only have 14% rodent parts in the fake leaves. RATS....surfing rats....ewwwwwww.

Yeah, Alvin Lee was definitely at the top of his game at that point.

Same here. And yet I've got this damn anthurium that just won't die. I think it lives just out of spite.

GROG know what you mean. GROG have some really nice plants that last awhile and then bite the dust, but there's one big plant somebody gave me that must be some sort of flowering weed. That sucker grows like crazy and spits out a whole bunch of babies. But at least it has some nice little pink flowers and it blooms pretty often , too.

Mine is just this big sprawling senseless plant. It tried to bloom last week, but the flower died. Hmmm. Symbolic.

Well if memory serves me right, (and correct me if I'm wrong Vampi) Anthurium can be cured with antibiotics. It can be contracted by several means, one of them being contact with rodent hair. I only know this as a result of a little incident in Ames, Iowa back when I was on the road in a rock band. They had a great free health clinic and the staff there hipped me to it. Pretty much no one else in the band got it after that. Crab lice, however, was a different story.

Anyone have any tips for that?

Are you feeding the tomato the correct beef? Is it some tomato cross-bred with a mutant venus fly trap?

Don't move to space, I can only imagine it would be even harder to grow your veggies - especially with no seasons - hot do you know when to plant?

I have no idea when to plant here. I just dig the holes and move dirt. I can't do that in space so I guess that's out of the question.

Being vegetarians, we only feed organic beef to the plants. Maybe we should try sheep. Whaddya think, mate?

Organic beef still has meat in it. Try vegan beef - tofu!

AHHH! OK I'll try it. But isn't the tomato technically a fruit? Wouldn't this cause some sort of mutation?

It causes ANTHURIUM, which is then spread through sexual contact with others inespecially homosexual practices, but then again, what happens "on-the road" stays "on-the road".

O.K. Let's see if I can help:

Squid- Beefeater tomatoes need Beefeater Gin. It is the Beefsteak tomatoes that need organic beef. A common mistake.

Everyone with plant trouble- Don't worry about it. A plant's only real important job is to produce oxygen, and this job will likely be outsourced to India to cut costs anyways.

Climate issues- Life's a beach!

Anne Therium- Wasn't she the English singer that hung with The Stones and Bowie? Maybe I'm thinking of Marianne Faithfull.

And last, but not least: LLT, your decanter does not look that much like the bus, at least not the "Spacebus" from "The Partridge Family 2200 AD!
