Nice find on the lamp! These I picked up today and three more next Sunday...
I call this my "Cowl" cuz it looks like someone started to carve and owl and ended up with a cat?
Different "Cat".

Yah, Vitco I vould say. The face on the back is most unusual, these usually were just one-sided Moai carvings.

You know if I could SEE the damn thing I would have a better idea, but photographing a vertical object horizontally, as well as a dark object against white walls, is somewhat detrimental to detail reception.

witco double bulb wall sconce light.4ft tall.carved wood and painted metal.
and......god auwful ugly!

I came up on my first Witco piece over the weekend - and a sweet Mick Jagger Tiki at that!
Now I gotta do some reading and figure out how/if I should refinish him.
