Clarita,
Those candles and boxes are really well done, the box looks as valuable as the candle!
I like the way the "Larita" in your name Clarita kinda' looks like "Lapita". I don't know for sure that this was intentional but it is quite apropo as the Lapita were ancestral to some coastal and island Melanesians, Micronesians and the Polynesians.
Keep the Ki'i candles cooking,
S T

Benzart was delivered a Beautiful candle today and he looks Fantastic, Clarita, you are Really onto something here. You should really work on producing as many of these as you can for sale, they are Great. Thank you SO Much I Really love it! I didn't realize it was a candle HOLDER with a tea light inside which will make it last forever. You don't need to destroy it to get the beautiful effect.

Hello Clarita!
Thank you so much for my tiki toti! He's so blue and beautiful! He's Blue-tiful! I haven't lit him yet, because I don't want his head to melt! Maybe on a very special day,but for now he's in my studio,Very close to my head while I paint! That way he can whisper inspirational thoughts to me as I paint! I gave him a friend to show him around,at least until he's met everybody!
He's living on top of my tiki shelf, which houses art supplies, old sketchbooks, and reference stuff! That tapa piece to his right is a Bamboo Ben original! A priceless masterwork!
Here's a wide shot showing the table where i work..
You can see him reeeeeeeeeal small in the right corner! He says he misses you,but is having a splendid time meeting all the masks and idols and paintings!
Thank you Clarita,my tiki soul sister!!!!

Aloha everyone! I'm planing on posting candles on tikimarketplace, I'm just waiting for a picture of the ones that are available at the US. So if you what to order one is going to be plus shipping from California, and not from Argentina, that makes it imposible. The one in the picture above Tiki Fuego is u$30 (He's a candle holder made of paraffin wax, it has a little tea candle inside)
the one at the left, Tiki Tormento u$20, the other Tiki Toti u$15 (they are candles)
and the Tiki Taka u$10 (he's a candle holder made of plaster,a little tea candle goes in the top of his head)
I forgot to tell you that
All of them come in their boxes! Of course!!
they are entirely made by me including the box and all are signed
Best wishes to you all! Thanks for looking!

Thanks 4WDtiki, FreddieBallsomic & Queen Kamehameha very very much appreciated!
Aloha TC! I want to share with you the first Tikis I ever made at 2001, they were a couple made for The Tormentos a great Argentinian surf band
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=18545808
to use in their shows
Until one of them get stolen at the BA Stomp (a big show featuring the phantom surfers)
And then the quest for the lost Tiki leyend was born
The Tormentos made a flyer looking for him
a song, and I think a video featuring Solrac's drawings
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=24286404
is being made.We still haven't found him...
But that's how the idea of making a commemorative candle came up and that's how I've made my first Tiki candle design
since then I've made three more(for now...)
Thanks for looking,Greetings to you all!
