AlohaStation: I imaging one could carve coconut shells, right? It would be an endless supply of material!

Hey Benz, I like the hook, but I think I'm too scared of it. Some more practice should help out. I think I need some different dremel bits though if I'm going to do bigger pieces like this.

Here is a starfish I did today:
Front

and back

Here is the view that greeted me this morning:

I love it!

Thanks Flynny. It's a little trick Benzart and Gman taught me using a cup burr and a sphere bit. It takes a lot of time but the effect is cool. I did it on my octopus piece too.

You're not supposed to tell!!! Shhhhhh!

That starfish is freaking great! Now that was a really cool idea, why didn't I think of that?

Thanks Hewey. Even though the design is pretty simple, it's one of my favorites.

Sorry Gman. I promise not to tell the trick involving bamboo slivers, rubber bands, and the jellyfish.

I wanted to add a third tiki pendant to my bone collection so I made this Lono today. I was looking through old TC posts trying to find pics of other Lono art and I was amazed at how many different styles there are just on TC. Pretty neat if you ask me!

Thanks for looking!

Thanks Polynesiac! The truth is, it's a combination of the tropical breeze, the warm sun, and the fact that the transmission on my van exploded so I needed to buy a new car. I can't afford not to carve!

Adding to your collection with a blown tranny. Sounds like Finkdaddy's is open for business!!

I really like the smaller more intique pendants you've done lately. Good job.

Thanks Ben and Hewey, I can always count on you!

Here is a commission I did today. I'm playing with a new camera for a while. I've finally got the hang of the macro setting, now I just have to find the right background and light source.

Thanks for looking!
