I hope the turns out! Not an easy one to make, Trying to make a one of the kind hula girl / volcano bowl, The hula girls are sculpt by and We purchased the mold to use by Jean Pardina for this project, The glass in the picture is to support the bowl until the wahines are dry enough to support it, With some luck, We hope to post some finish pics. Soon :) Gogo

Thanks Mike Your a stand-up guy in my book, And a Great artist, Good news and Bad news! The bad news is, The bowl was way to heavy for the wahines to support, When I removed the support glass, It was like the walls of Jericho, It all came tumbling down Knowing that was probably going to be the outcome anyway, I had made a second bowl, This time with a turned cylinder to help support the weight, So far so good, It's in the kiln going to bisque, Dani and I hope to have it glazed up, Ready for Oasis 10, Here is the pictures, Thanks for all you nice post my friend, Cheers to you! Gogo
FYI, It's ( 4 ) wahines the first one and this one! Much Aloha!

So I can't count!
Great save! The support cylinder doesn't detract from the design, still looks great. Hope to see it and the 2 of you at TO10
