Wow! Very cool totem pole, seeks!
I love the Pac NW Coast style of carving. Haida is my preferred. Looks like you've got a lot of it in your mix.
Hurry up and finish so we can see!

Bowie

I was gonna say the same thing. He really sucks. I think I'm gonna
throw away my chisels and find another hobby. You too good!

And how about that totem pole, are you gonna put a stove-top hat on him?

Looks good from here! I've been wanting to play with that tar & mineral spirits recipe but haven't had the chance. I expect it to be a little darker, but looks great!

Seeks!

Way too hard on yourself!

You know this looks good though... you have to!

I think I'm going to fly on out to the NW so you can show me how to carve.

Sweet!

Seeks, nice carve!
What's the story on that tar recipe - is it meant to weatherproof, or to give it a nice aged patina? Or both???

wow seeks,

it's really terrible. if gman can't find a place to hide it i have an out of the way spot in my backyard overlooking everything that i can stash him in. he looks great and the tar stain will look great when you finish up with him. back in the 70's you could have put him in the water in galveston and the tar balls would have stained him beautifully. back then everyone carried a can of wd40 in their car to clean up for the ride home. great job seeks.

bd

Lake - It looks good but i can do better. Im waiting at the

Badd - thanks tall lono made me earn that headdress.
