This technique of carving "step by step" with each finishing stage is quite strange and very interesting... This seems to be a gift that you discover a little hunk every day...
And what's next? Can't wait to see the new gift from your skills!!!

I love the roughness of the gouges that you leave in there! They are complimented quite well with the smooth parts .... it seems the desire for tiki carving is to gain the smoothest surfaces as possible, it's nice to see a quality statue that is still rough around the edges! Very well done!
