I have been watching his progress and adding my 2 cents here and there, but Will has this well in hand. That log is a monster! It easily weighed over 100lbs. when he started. I support Grog's assessment that the Tang needs a Wang - the "dick-do" excuse doesn't hold water (get it?)!

Beautiful work on the Tangs, Plugger. But we would expect nothing less based
on all of your previous carving and restoration efforts. Those "spirit hook"
figures from the Mai Kai are really cool....I suppose we all want one of those

Another thread with awesome cook island tikis. The surface finish in particular rocks the big one.

Wow ,
It's way too cold to carve !
No up dates till we warm up.
The 2 smaller tangs are mango & are natural with rub polly & the pic doesn't really show the colors in the wood. The big guy, fl. oak, will be rub polly also & looks like marble when sanded clear.

We've been in the 30's and 40's up here in Port St Lucie and I can't even get into my garage/shop.
