The Castaways can be EASILY missed. There are minimal exterior hints that would give away the place. Unless you were specifically looking for it, you would never notice it driving down the street, and it is on a major street.

Does anyone know what happened to that Tiki place in Glendale, somewhere near the Galleria, where the tables were sitting on piers with koi swimming around in the water below them? That's the place that stills haunts me from my childhood.

Has anyone on this board ever mentioned a place in Denver called "The Islands" before? I searched but couldn't find anything about it.
Here's something from that place:

I don't think strippers have ever advertised on TC or any other forum I have ever been on before.
How...no interesting isn't the word...how....random?how...odd?
I guess if you stick some very badly painted tikis in front of any building it warrants a place worth mentioning. I will have to remember to get the picture of the tiki outside the meth clinic in San Fran next time I am in that part of the city. Then I will invite everyone down to "show some love" to its patrons.

The place once was a classic tiki outpost. The tikis and mask out front are old, not just something put up recently.
