WOW! You are all over the map with your work. It seems you don't just focus your talents in one area, but are great in many.

Thank you Grand Pooobah, I enjoy working in many directions, always three or four current project, often small diferentes, then I work the next day availability.

Sépik Pop Figure:
Pics taken just before his long journey to Florida (Hi John!)

The "last one on the bench" seems too large to fit on the bench. How tall is he? I can't wait to see this one finished.

Finally back from vacation !
I went to see how are the carvers who live near the sea...and now, I'm back and it is a lot of work in progress in the workshop...And it starts to get hurry:
Thank you! Thank you John CC!!! I do not know if one day he will visit Florida, at least he went to Paris next month for the new exhibition Tiki Tribe! See above!
You're right amate, he don't fit on the bench... On the V trestles may be more correct... He's tall 110cm, 3.6 feet. Not finished yet. Thank's for reply!
Yep Sensei Carver, totally nutz!! Also you know well the carver who wears it, over there in the South Pacific... Thank's for comp, always appreciated from you.
Thank you Big T, a litttle progress on the Sepik idols, but no pics... Sorry. Next times I promise!
Just before vacation, I've carved a large tiki in the "Gormandizers Car Show". Only with chainsaw, approximately 12 hours of work, here are some pictures:
Nice vintage cars and hot rod pics HERE. Follow the links on the link please...
Now, other things from the workshop:
First, a pine Moai. Actually a wedding present:
A series of walnut carving framed
Oak frame.
the bottom of the frame is inlaid laminate and snakewood.
Moai
Tangaroa
Marquesan
Papua
Ku
Something different, also framed:
A couple of war dancer
Ash tree hand-carved in pine frame.
an other figurate Virani and the Taikaii in Hiva Oa
Thank's for looking!
Have a nice day!
Jérôme.
