Hello Tiki Central! Time for a spring update...
-Thank you McTiki! I think nice detail make good look for the entire carving.
-Hi Clarita! Those eyes is just cut of shell, they have a center now...Thank's!
-Lot of character and yet lot of work... Thank you Big T!
-Sorry Sensei Carver, Tekoteko is not yet finished. Soon moko study and carving. Meanwhile, I stumbled on an acacia pieces and I had to do something... Get well soon Sensei Carver!
-Merci Eric!
Tekoteko not finished I said above, but a little progress:
Wooden nail ...
...makes a sharp eyes!
Another thing that I took the time to finish, cérémonial adze Toki poutangata:
Walnut handle and fiber. Pounamou blade by Tamapoutini!
On his oak and plexiglas stand:
With light from the base through the blade :
Something different, inspired by Brancusi, Pogany Tiki carved in acacia:
And as Easter approaches ... a carving of season:
Hope you like!
Have a nice day!
Jérôme.

I was going to take a stick and mount it to a base and call it "Tiki In Space" - then I realized he kinda beat me to it, by a few years. I love your interpetation!
