Hi Hilda, you're very welcome! The Zombie is one of my favorites too. Mike, that's a great combo you've got there too!
Looking forward to this evening, Mai Tai here I come.
Cheers!
Chris

Made my first proper Q.B. Cooler. This drink used to be good, but now that I made it with all the proper ingredients, it's just simply amazing. Donn, you were a genius. Now off to make me a Yeoman's Grog!

Made a Nui Nui. It was kinda weak. A bit watery and not enough flavor. I added more syrup which made it better, but still it was just ok. Never been a huge fan of this drink, even though it sounds delicious. This time I tried it with Havana Club 7 and still, it's just a mediocre drink, atleast for my tastes. Oh well.
At the moment I'm savouring a modified version of Cobra's Fang. Probably the best version I've made so far. Would've been perfect with a dash of grenadine, but I didn't have any so no can do. Still, an amazing drink.

I used this recipe found here: http://cocktailmuseum.wordpress.com/2006/12/13/seminar-report-jeff-berry-and-lost-vegas-tiki-luau-at-commanders-palace/ (though I shaked it with crushed ice since I don't have a blender)
This recipe is lacking in flavor and the other recipe with 1oz don's spices #2 is way too sweet. I guess 1/4oz each of the syrups would be best with my stuff and taste. I might try it some day.

I don't think you should call that drink a Mai Tai!

Relaxing by the pool I cobbled this frozen concoction together to use up some ingredients before they went South on me:
3/4 oz Fresh-squeezed lime juice
2 0z Passion fruit juice
3 oz Coco Lopez Coconut Creme
3 oz light rum
8 leaves fresh mint (adjust to taste)
Put it all in a blender with crushed ice and blended to the desired consistency.
I haven't given it a name . . . yet, but it was a most refreshing frozen drink - that little bit of mint in the background really does it.
