Been AWOL from TC for a while, but that doesn't mean I haven't been drinking...
Don Caipirito
A mashup of the classic Brazilian Caipirinha and a Cuban Mojito, with a hint of Donn Beach.
Muddle 1 quartered lime, 9 orange-citrus mint leaves, and 1 Tbsp of Demerara Cane Sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker. Then add the following ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Água Luca Cachaça
1 oz. Oronoco Rum
1/4 Tbsp. Licor 43 Cuarenta y Tres Liqueur
1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon syrup
6 drops Herbsaint Pastis
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Shake with crushed ice and pour into a double Old-fashioned glass. Add a splash of soda to fill.
