Nice pendant! We don't get to see the cut itself? I think we all know the slip of the knife and have the scars to prove it. They do make Kevlar gloves for carvers. Keep up the great carving.

Ouchhhhhhhhhh! Make sure you take lots of the right vitamins and minerals. That was the key when Scott amputate his three fingers and the put them back together. Literally the day after we went to our local witch doctor (our local vitamin and health food store) and she gave us step by step what to take and what I needed to cook for him for the entire healing process. It was so successful that his reconstruction doctor wrote a letter to work comp and they reimbursed us for 100% of the vitamins.

Hang in there!

Jen

Conga, Thanks but I don't feel very Kingly right now, Soon tho.

Kinny C'Mon Over and you can party with them all you want, Careful though, they can get rambunctious at times
I must confess I Put the curves on that Straight board, couldn't stand the straight sides! Thanks big timme.

Aloha, see above post for the answer to the curved wood, I love the curves too! Thanks for stopping by and for the support.

T Mango,Yes, I Do need help, every one of these guys is a challenge from the beginning. Thanks for the props tho, c'mon down and party with these guys before they are gone?

Bows, He has been serving time for unpredictable behavior and is now out and free. Thanks for the patience.

Surfer,, Thanks for stopping by with kind words!

Aloha, unfortunately this guy has not seen the box yet but if he continues to draw blood, he might see it in little bitty pieces, Thanks

The Bit T, these guys are gigantic! That is one great thing about carving the Micro pieces, when you quadruple the size, it gets Easy to cram in a lot of detail. Try it sometime. Thanks

Bowana, that was my Exact word but said with even more fervor, Thanks.

Paipo, Yes the knife in the pic was the culprit, but I wasn't carving at the time, I was searching for a router bit behind a row of tools. When I changed the bandage this morning I found the exit wound on the opposite side of the hand so it went All the way through.
Thanks for the healing thoughts.

Thanks Surfer, but you know they say the dull knife cuts More skin than the Sharp one? besides to get my sharp tools away, you would have to cut off my hands!

Mango thanks, I Hope not too, there are mny strange feelings thee for now

GMAN, yep, that must have been it!

Palm,City Tiki, Long Long time, Thanks for the info, I'll keep that in mind. Yes the scars have better stories but aren't nearly as Cool lookin'

Thanks Finky but I've already had a long break, I guess you'll have to come down and pick up some of the slack?? : p

Aolha, this was a different knife but this one sharpens the same way. It was a strange setup.

Thanks big daddy I guess I'll have to explain how it happened? I usually do heal pretty fast, so a couple dayz.

Thanks Again Kinny, No Butterknife coming my way
Yeah tiki Lizard but I wasn't carving. I'm not sure peeps are ready for the pix yet though?

Cool stuff, Thanks Skinny Dod I appreciate that!

Clarita, Thanks, for the kind words and for stopping by from SO Far away!

Oh, man!~ So sorry to see that cut, Benz. I know the consolation is small, but that Lono is looking so cool! At least that picture of your bandaged hand won't be the centerfold in the next Tiki Mag~ The best wishes for the speediest of recoveries, pallie.

-Andy

I go away for a few days - and WOW! That's a real bite! I've got a few cuts on me - but not like that. I thought my problem was being a noobie, but now I know it can happen to anyone.

I'm hurtin' with you bro!

Ugh!

PS: I have an old pastry-chef glove I'll send you if you want it... from the coon-tiki days
