Maybe no inlay is the answer it looks fantastic without the eyes. Will the bone take a little black marking with some permanent marker or paint if so a black horizontal line accross the middle of the eyes may work

oh these look much better, i think the green was a little hash of a contrast for my taste anyway even if they had been perfectly shaped, and the rest of it is just amazing
