Nice work, and idea. One additional thought, why not put some padding in spots on the tiki to make him somewhat 3d? Kind of like puffy paint? Cool work either way though.

Hey Kiki! I'm glad you posted some of your work. I was curious to see how it looks and I have to say it's TOO COOL! Great idea, I think it will just snowball from here.
I really like the tapa pattern along the bottom of the skirt - that's a nice touch. IMHO sometimes the subtlest touches are the ones that really bring the whole piece together.
Looking forward to seeing what else you have up your sleeve!

Rock on Kiki! I dig the tiki's style and the
off to the side placement. Also the tapa border.
I also think it would be great on different colors,
along with the white one. Maybe some secondary stitched or patched
on small flowers on the other side just for balance too. Keeping
the main focus on the tiki. Great purse!
