I should have went,
big fight at my house, and bad times.

We ended up going last night...I think the Rum Barrel is my new favorite drink. Good to know it was busy there two nights in a row.
Definitely going to try to make it next Monday since there's no Boy Scouts (thank God!)

I don't know if they have any bands, but I was thinking of swinging by Sat. night.
will be there for sure on Monday Dec. 28th.
prob around 5 or 6pm.

No Don's NYE for me...we've got our own annual party we're throwing. Anyone not going to the Tikiyaki event that wants to party basically for free on New Years Eve, drop me a PM and I'll forward you the Evite. Last year we had about 100 people, and this year seems like it's going to be bigger.
Jeff...if you get a bed at Don's, don't forget you have to share with the ghosts!

I was thinking it would be good to wind up my 11 day Vacation off work at Dons.
but I kinda over did it on the Holidays.
money and booze wise. so I need to skip this mon.

Went up last night and was pleasantly surprised to see three new drinks on the menu. The Nui Nui, Scorpion, and The Jungle Jetsetter. I tried them all and as always, they were great. The Nui Nui has got a nice cinnamon simple syrup bite to it, the Jungle Jetsetter is coconut rum with lime and other juices, and it goes down REALLLY easily, and my favorite, the Scorpion is, well a Scorpion, which has that great citrus zing, and that extra something with the brandy as well as rum being mixed. It was good to see the bar packed last night too, it shows that all the hard work that Art, Marie, and all the staff have been putting in has paid off. Damn, I want to go right now...

There was a band last night. Monkeys with Fire. Never seen them before but they were great. Covers of everything from Louis Armstrong to Van Halen to Johnny Cash to Iron Maiden in a Sabbath meets Panteta style. Think Nutty goes punk.
