I didn't see a band when I was there on Thursday, but District (the local LB arts/entertainment rag) was having some kind of publicized event. Definitely brought a different crowd of people in than you normally see. It's definitely cool to see Don's being embraced by the locals again.

Rumor has it Tiki King is in town for NAMM and will be teaming up with Fezmonger, beloved overlord at Fez-O-Rama, for a fez-up at Don's Saturday night. I'll be there rocking the fez. Come join us and have a Navy Grog as we listen to the Glasgow Tiki Shakers.

well its probably gonna be a cold rainy day here in So. Cal. tomorrow.

what more of a Perfect reason to have a few drinks to warm up.
Try the Hot Buttered Rum, very good.
