What a great evening at Dons! I resisted my usual "gotta go, it's a work night" exit routine, and though I'm feeling the consequences a little today it was well worth it!

Marie and JonPaul we missed you dearly...
It was a riot! What fun we had at Don's last night, I had not forgotten so many good times there. With bartending duties at the Tonga Hut on weekends and the drive from the desert it's been a rough year making it out to every event like I used to.
I met Tonga Tom & Sherriyaki when I first starting working at the Hut, they were 2 of my first customers and first to make our "Loyal order of the Drooling Bastard" list of VIP's. Not so new to the world of tiki though, they were lurkers of TC and residents of HB and spent a deal of time in Sams Seafood until re-locating in the Valley which brought them to the Tonga Hut. Not to mention that they were all along lurking the grounds of a few Tiki Oasis quietly, can you imagine that.
Tom, Sherri and I had been saying we've got to make the time to head out to Don's for TC night and we were getting the 'ol " when ya gonna come out? " question week after week so, we came out! It feels good to be out 
We hope to see you all more often now we had a great time, I was still the Designated Driver but was more
than happy to do so. I tasted everything as always! Yum! Thanks everyone! See you soon!

Kelly was working a last minute shift at TH yesterday, so we met some TC peeps there for a few drinks. Can't to get back to Don's on a Monday really soon, we had a blast! Definitely looking forward to seeing everyone there for MariePalooza.
