Campbell, I've never even been to Kustom Lane. It's out in the eastern suburbs somewhere yeah? How long they been open? Bad date though...that's around my birthday!
The tikis were shown years ago (Gavin Dyke carved them at LEAST 6 years ago) at Outre Gallery so they've "retired" to my garden and won't move again hopefully.

Wayne,Kustomlane's been goin for just on a couple of years now
aand are located on Luton Lane in Hawthorn, so not really that
far out of town just past Richmond. I remember you hav'n some hebel
tiki's at John's Rod and Kustom picnic years back that were pretty kool.
You should try and make it down to KL for the show and maybe score yourself
a neat birthay presie.
Benella, thanks heaps for the compliment Ben.
Here's a couple of pic's I found on the wkend the first photo is of
my very first attempt at carving and the second pic is #4 I think.

Seeks, thanks mate, the first one I carved with a broken beer bottle
and a thong but by #4 had realized that wouldn't cut it so I got me
some real tools.

Hey, That #4 was really Great! I Lofe the deep detail and the precise detail over all. The eyes are truly unusual and cool ONLY #4? Took me a Long time to get half that good.

Ben,thanks for drop,n by and the kind words,I still dig this peice
alot. He's pretty old now and the elements haven't been kind thats
why he's hide'n behind the pots as the bottom third has rotten away.
I'll have to be careful with my humour as i dont want to offend anyone
here.Cheers Watango
