Forget simple syrup, Kelly. I'm gonna make two bottles of Gomme Syrup -- one for you and one for the Rumpus Room. They lost my package of gum arabic in the mail and I've had to wait an extra four weeks but the replacement shipment arrived today. Now we can see if that silky smooth texture is as good as I've been hearing it is. As always, I'll bring some odds and ends as well. See you all soon.

I had a really good time at the Rumpus Room last night - probably too good a time since I'm moving slowly this morning and don't remember much. I know there were some excellent drinks courtesy of Hiphipahula and Trader Tom  I also remember I was talking too much toward the end and that at some point GROG and I decided that Summer Glau was Tiki and if you didn't agree with us we'd be upset.

Glad to be back at the Rumpus Room. Kelly and Tom were tickling our taste buds with some new and amazing concoctions, I hope someone was writing them down. Thanks to Eric, Kent, and anyone else who used my camera to help grab images of the fun times we had last night. Can't wait to see you all again on Sunday at Tonga Hut for the Art Show and The Hula Girls!

We had 20 people or so at the Rumpus Room last night! Busy night at the Rumpus Room. It was fun.
No Summer Glau, though. No Tobunga and Manuel either. Where were you guys?
And GROG figured Trader Tom would be there to celebrate getting his Doctorate a couple of days ago.(Congrats Doctor Tom). Maybe Dr. Tom had enough drinking the day before taste-testing at the Tonga Hut.
Thanks Kelly for mixing up the great drinks.
