Randy, you need to circle the building for people to find it, it is so small in comparison.

Here's another item with the A-frame on it, a Waikikian flight bag:

This would go well with the shirt!

Great to see the Waikikian facade again without the tree blocking it.

I would very much like to connect with someone who would like to have extended conversations about the Waikikian/Tahitian Lanai.

You can see the sign in this Hawaii 5-0 episode titled Sing a Song of Suspense behind these shifty looking characters.

I grabbed these from YouTube a few months ago from one of those “Welcome to Hawaii” travel log films. Its Jill’s the Waikikian’s poly pop shop before it devolved into an ABC store.

Some new stuff from the Waikikian.

I got this postcard showing the Waikikian buildings and the Tahitian Lanai area from the air adjacent to the Hilton Hawaiian Village complex with Diamondhead in the background.

You can see the pool and outdoor tables in this close up.

Also scored this great postcard showing Jill's Hawaiian store at the Waikikian.

Close up of the building and the Tiki that stood guard outside.

Also a great shot of the A-Frame hotel building next to the store.

Back of the card - a photographers paradise indeed!

Just can't get enough Waikikian.

Kele,

Your welcome. I recently picked up an old Here's Hawaii Guide and inside to my surprise were two very cool old luggage stickers from the Waikikian.

Spotted another postcard with a different view of the lobby building and the adjacent towers.

And another cool photo of the main entrance building with the Ilikai and Hilton Hawaiian Village looming in the background.
