GROG have a couple of hand-built mugs in the kiln bisque firing. Tomorrow GROG do glaze fire, and if all goes well, then GROG will have some Java Bobs, Moai Salt and Pepper Shakers, and a couple of hand-built Moai mugs. Right now GROG just waiting for bro-inlaw to call so GROG can pick up dremel to bore out holes in salt and pepper shakers so that GROG can get them glazed today. Something always happens that things end up coming right down to the wire to get finished in time!

I'm so bad about posting stuff, I just don't seem to have the time... but here's something I'll have on hand for the parking lot sale...

I've created a new framed vinyl tiki map. This time it's Rarotonga, "capitol" of the Cook Islands, complete with a tangaroa tiki. Map measures 11"x17".

It's the prize in my Great Rarotonga Raffle.
There are 50 tickets, and each ticket consists of a 4"x 6" numbered, hand-rubbed linoblock print of the map (suitable for framing!) and a 2" resin tangaroa face pendant. Tickets are 10.00 each.

So even if you don't win the map, you still get some fun art fer yer 10 bucks!

I'm working on lots of other stuff, but so far have not even had time to photograph anything else! I'll try to post more stuff soon!

See everybody on Sunday!

Do I have this right....The Hula Girls are an all Dude Band? If so, just wondering if they modeled their name after the "Bare Naked Ladies", not ladies, not naked. Hula Girls, not girls, no hula...

Okay back to shopping...I've been using coupons like mad, eating $1.69 Lean Cuisine dinners for the last 2 weeks for lunch, and broke open a piggy bank for more spending money for this. Get outta my way I've got stuff to buy! Bringing my "big" shopping bag!

Kirby the masks and the new pendants are way cool...Dibs on Grog's most "orangy" Java Bob! If you folks don't own a Bowana Hula Girl mug--you must! The detail is truly amazing.

See ya'll at the hut!

Hey Suzy, you're not the only one enjoying the lovely aroma of eau de resin... can't tell if I'm woozy from that or the mai tai I just had...

Sounds like you'll have some awesome stuff! Can't wait to see your cool tiki wares!

OH - also, forgot to mention, I have lots more original Stockton Islander Bamboo to distribute, courtesy of Abstractiki... stop by my table and pick up a piece, absolutely free, while they last!

This is indeed going to be one fun event!
