Thanks to Tiki Magazine, Nick Camara and his brother Raland for photographing the South Pacific Room for the latest issue.

It was great to hang out with you guys and see all different photos featured in the last issue with Nick at the helm. End of an era.

We are privileged to count you among our friends.

Congrats on making it in Tiki Magazine. The South Pacific Room is incredible. One of my favorite builds on here.

I love all the photos of rooms, furniture and artwork but all of these tiki bars look better with people in them. Here are a few inside and outside shots at the South Pacific Room.

THANKS TO ALL Who have made this place come alive with freindship and warmth.
These Rooms/Bars are meant to bring LIFE to our LIVES.

AWESOME place MM.
And the party you throw every year looks great too.
We used to have smaller versions of what you throw but
man it's tons of work, and money.

Great Job!!

Wow, so many things to love about your build.

The router work is off the charts and your ceiling kicks Tiki Ass.

As most great room, best seen at night when your lighting kicks into play.

I salute you with an 15yr old El Dorado!

The exterior doors on the South Pacific Room had some very simple bamboo type shades that kept the sun out on hot days.
The problem is that they occupied a lot of wall space in a decorated room so they seem a bit blah.
I added some muslin (material) to the back of the shade to block more light but again still blah.

So today we took a vintage design and painted on the backside of the material. The result looks great when there is light outside (usually daytime)

For this photo I put a green bulb outside to capture the essence of it.

Enjoy

Looks cool. You should put a permanent green light out there.
