Hi McTiki, Dan and I just enjoyed looking at your three pages of carvings. A wonderful portfolio of you talent and creativity. It was really fun to see the mug turned into a carving. Keep posting and we will keep looking. Cheers from one coast to the other, Wendy and Dan

Ok, So I took my wife to the Mayo Clinic in Jax, FL. We stayed in a nice hotel, and when I ventured outside to survey the property, (I always tour the property...don't ask) I noticed this Art-decoish outdoor lamp. I snapped a pic and sent it to her in an attempt at getting a smile out of her.
So, later on in the evening, I sat with my sketch pad and toyed with it a bit. It wanted to be a cannibal.
Then this happened...
More to come!
Thank you for browsing.

that is cool to see the thought process. it is neat to see how one thing can set off all kinds of creativity. Good luck with your family.

Thanks guys. That means alot.
Mrs Tiki and I may end up on TV for Mystery Diagnosis in the near future. Thanks for the well wishes.
As far as therapy goes....yes! It is awesome therapy.
I wish I didn't take a break, but, who knows...it may have been a really good thing too.
Here are the last of the carving/sanding updates until he's stained up.
Thanks again!

Hummm, looking at your designs I can see that I'd like to use a couple in a painting I'm doing right now. Would that be ok? Wendy
