What is the joke that the Disneyland Jungle Cruise skippers say when then pass by Trader Sam?
Something like "one of yours for one of his"?

It's "Trader Sam is having a special today, two of his for one of yours".
Pretty close! (3 years of annual passes...god help me!)

Here are my contributions to the theme, only on Tiki Central
For some historic context (hopefully not to spoil your appetite) : The real thing
(or...is it?)
And some mid-century pop humor:

Art openings are customarily free, and this one seems to fit the custom.

DJ Switched On Audrey will spin an intoxicating blend of tunes.
Sino Tequila is concocting a special cocktail and the "Bacon Mania" gourmet food truck is providing tasty treats.

I got really stoned and watched Cannibal Holocaust for the 1st time while eating a big plate of spaghetti. An experience I'll never forget.
if you want dinner in the area go here. Even that greasy bleached haired douche on TV approves.

Atomikitty has emerged from the deep dark jungles to post again on Tiki Central!
Really looking forward to the show tonight~ seeing some AMAZING art, listening to some GROOVY tunes, Imbibing in some lovely spirits, and most of all seeing all my Tiki Ohana. It's been WAY too long!
Here are a few teasers of my 'shrunken pieces' for the show:
