Speaking of which - in case everyone else didn't hear, there will be a bandito mustache contest, as well as a Mexican style circle skirt contest, in addition to our regularly scheduled costume contest.
This is a heads up to all potential banditos and senoritas out there - Guys start growin em now! Gals, start sewin em now!
The semi-celebrity host of the mustache contest will be none other than Crazy Al! (which means he will be barred from being a contestant!!)
Guest hostess of the Mexican circle skirt contest will be announced at a later date
The contest will be held early in the evening on Saturday (maybe 5:30), August 20
For Rules please read the fine print.
Fine print: As is customary with our costume contest, the winner of the mustache contest will be determined by a variety of random criteria, and chosen at the whim of the semi-professional judges and/or the host of the contest without any deliberations or explanations.

Don't get the wrong idea though. Not just any mustache will do.
This guy probably would not get laid at Tiki Oasis with that sad Seventies mustache
similarly, this guy might be sexy, but his mustache is not
Even this REAL MAN, with his stylish South of the Border dress, would not be able to win the mustache contest with his ungroomed 'stache
