MST3K presents this European Spy Thriller from 1966...
Hulu: Mystery Science Theatre 3000 - Secret Agent Super Dragon
In this espionage adventure, the "Super Dragon," a notorious secret agent, is assigned by the CIA to stop a Venezuelan drug lord from spiking U.S. gum and candy with a powerful hallucinogenic drug in order to take over the United States.

A few pages back John-O mentioned this 1960's icon
But let's not forget the possibly the greatest secret agent of that era.

Fred Flinstone as the "greatest secret agent of that era" ??
Rum Dog, YOU of all people surprise me with that opinion...
I think the real answer is quite obvious.
And you can totally repurpose your Mojave props for a Lancelot Link tepee room party at Tiki Oasis. All you need are are the trench coats !!

I noticed no one had mentioned good old Fred Flintstone as a secret agent. I was trying for something that had yet to be mentioned. You, of course, had already taken the Lancelot Link reference a page back with
11. Mata Hairi (the Mata who spied for Democracy !!... and bananas)
That Lancelot Link episode from the picture you posted no doubt gave me the idea for Tikipelli. I used a picture from it early on for my posts for Mojave Oasis.
Hey lets not get me started on monkeys again. I am trying to change my image.

Oh you want to play that game, do you ?? How about this...
What connection does this 1960's sitcom character have to Spy pop culture AND the Surf Music revival ??
And no Googling the answer, either you know it or you don't !!

He was in an episode of "77 Sunset Strip" which I saw a few weeks ago
Star Efrem Zimbalist Jr. is an ex agent for the CIA in the show, Max Baer was also in
episodes of "Follow the Sun", "Hawaiian Eye" & "Surfside 6" which gives him some Tiki Cred.
I would have to look him up on the Internets for more info, John.

I don't think that is what John-O is looking for ATP.
This is too easy. I don’t need Google for this one.
Max Baer Jr. has not one but three indirect links and connections to the world of tiki. Later in life in a futile attempt to shed the Jethro image he sported an awesome mustache that made everyone in the 1970’s porn business envious. This no doubt was the impetuous for the many mustache competitions that have taken place at various tiki events such as last year’s Tiki Oasis and the Rumpus Room annual competition.
A second connection, Tom Selleck, who was an admitted huge fan of the Beverly Hillbillies and Jethro in particular, sported a similar mustache on Magnum P.I. which brings in several tiki connections. Selleck grew his famed mustache after seeing Baer Jr. on an episode of the Dinah Shore show in 1978 where Baer discussed how the Jethro character had typecast him and ruined his acting career. Selleck was impressed how Dinah was infatuated and giddy with Baer’s mustache. (Side bit of trivia is that Selleck nicknamed his mustache “Bodine” to pay homage to Baer’s Jethro character.)
Third link and as well as being a connection to this year’s Tiki Oasis theme. Baer was under consideration to play James Bond in “Diamonds are Forever”. This was just a ploy used by Cubby Broccoli to get Connery back in the role. Connery balked at first, but when rumors started that Baer got the role and the 007’s name was being changed to “Bond, Jethro Bond” Connery reluctantly agreed to reprise the role.

Good answers RD and ATP but not exactly what I was thinking of...
You don't remember Season 3, Episode 21 of "The Beverly Hillbillies"... "Double Naught Jethro" ??
It aired on March 3rd, 1965 which was when the spy craze was peaking right after "Goldfinger".
In this episode, Jethro decides to give up his dream of being a brain surgeon to become a "double naught spy" just like James Bond. He even turns the Clampett truck into a "double naught spy car"...
Which is also the name of a local instrumental Surf-inspired band !!

Damn, I knew that answer.
;-/
you just would wait for me to answer it.
I was hoping that Double Naught Spy Car would be on the bill for this year's
Tiki Oasis.
Considering that a couple of those guys are also in King Kukulele's band,
the Freaky Tikis.

Still not sure who composed the Spider-Man jazz though.
Is this all really "Crime Jazz" though ?? Sharp horn riffs set against action sequences always evoke that musical genre for me, even it it's for cartoon superheros.

John O,
I think Ran, aka (Kick the Reverb) knows the answer,
and has a cd of a bunch of that music.
I'll ask him to chime in here.
