PART 7
Real Life Spies

It was exactly Ogilvy’s mid-century consumer manipulation technologies that were later so mind-bogglingly satirized in the uber-psychedelic The Prisoner TV show, itself originally suggested by the real camp established in Scotland for WW2 spies who knew too much about the details of the D-Day invasion to be allowed their freedom.

For a slightly fictionalized version of the real events, read The Cooler, George Markstein’s mystery spy thriller. Markstein, co-creator and primary writing force behind The Prisoner, was a military reporter who found out about Britain’s most secret camp at a cocktail party...

then wrote about how a futuristic society could use advanced surveillance technologies to control their people's every move...

be seeing you...

Aloha, Baby !

Now you can tell everyone you got Smashed on Mai Tais and Jungle Jetsetters at the Jungle Jetsetter Lounge on your vacation at Tikiyaki Polynesian Village Hotel in Waikiki, and even got to keep the glass !

These classic tumblers feature a beautiful white screen printed tapa design by Eric October (Tobunga), as well as the TPV logo and Tiki, and read

"Aloha, Baby! I got Smashed in the Jungle Jetsetter Lounge only at Hawaii's most Exotic Hotel....Tikiyaki Polynesian Village. Home of the World Famous Tikiyaki Orchestra and delicious Jungle Jetsetter Cocktail"

These will be available at Tiki Oasis, both on the Tikiyaki Orchestra Thursday Night "Spytacular" performance and also all weekend long at the Tikiyaki Polynesian Village souvenir shop in the INDOOR vending area.

Price is $6 ea or 4 for $ 20

Aloha, Baby !

Wow! Those are just what the Dr. ordered. (the Mai Tais, of course). But the glasses are super cool.

Don't forget the Artists Reception on Saturday. Here's my painting for the show. I hope Otto likes it. Cheers, Wendy

Mission in Paradise or Agent in Paradise I can't remember which I submitted to Baby Doe.

I almost forgot to mention that both tikis in my painting are carvings by the talented McTiki. He is gracious enough to allow me to add them to my painting. Thanks so much Andy.

Cammo, John-O, thank you for your efforts to educate about real spies like us. Although we still do not have images of the Agents of S.O.B.E.R. we did intercept some of their propaganda and a surveillance video and we know that they are openly recruiting agents here:

www.facebook.com/agentSober1

If you have any photos of S.O.B.E.R. agents or documents regarding their actions at Mission: TO12 we would really appreciate you sharing that information.

At Mission: TO12 the airwaves will most likely be controlled by agents affiliated with T.I.K.I.
the first to announce their presences is the Agents of Luxuria
