Yeah, me too. Does anyone else think that juke box has a futuristic Moai quality to it? Nice find!

Liz, that hurts! Just when I thought we were bonding! The juke does have a kinda Moai-like profile. Is there such a thing as Polynesian Doo-Wop? Where's Brian Setzer when you need him? He can play anything. I'll bet he could muster up some Rapa Nui Doo-Wop!

Found these over the weekend...
Musical Pirate Gun(blunderbuss) Decanter..It plays "How Dry I Am" song. Missing a front display stick that inserts into the stand. Im going to fix it though, since the seller only wanted $2 for it.
Not sure if this chrome blowdryer is 1940s or 1950s...It was too clean to pass up though...$12 and it works.
Found a couple of c.1940s waffle makers that were filthy, but cleaned up like new with some polish. Same goes for the c.1930s art deco toaster oven, that is made out of aluminum. Bought the two waffle makers off of the same seller for $17. The art deco toaster cost me $12 from another seller. All are in working condition.
I love the toaster oven's look...It was a bakelite/chrometastic weekend.

MMMMMM, waffles! Great stuff, Tom. Do you have a period kitchen to put that stuff in?

Hey BK, Thanks!
In answer to your question...Quote:

Ok, enough of the lame jokes...
Actually, I guess I am headed in that direction since it seems, I have been buying quite a few 1930s-1960s small kitchen appliances lately. It is weird because, I was on a forever dryspell, and then come Sunday, there were deals to be made and merchandise of interest to buy. Now, I just fear it will be another month or so, before my next post!

Found this $3 estate find two weeks ago, but just now getting around to taking pics..
Literally, new in the box. Wind him up and it has breathing motion, and growls, while trying to kick the bee off of his foot...The Dog just wants to take a siesta...As he tilts his head back and yawns...from the 1950's, and predates the Cragstan identical copy called "Mechanical Lazy Bones; The Sleepy Pup".

OK, Heath. I don't know what I find more disturbing; that picture or the fact that you had it ready to go! Anyway, my Star Devils T-shirt reflects nicely, doesn't it? Great band, by the way, I highly recommend them. Ah, Liz! I love the way you sweet talk.
Yours Truly,
Ginormous Kahuna
