I went to the flea market and pretty much scored...I got a set of bedside end tables(double tierd) for $20..They have brass feet and brass wired magazine holders underneath the tabletop.
Then we scored a Heywood-Wakefield lounge type chair, with tag still attached for $30. Not sure what model it is, but I'm picking it up tomorrow, and taking photos.
3 old Hamms Beer items including a Hamms stuffed Bear, a 3d molded bear holding sign(broken ear), and a Hamms on tap celuloid for a light most likely.
A homemade looking clock that works, and is still in the box of Sambo's Restaurants.
Then my favorite find, even though it was in rough condition...An old Aluminum Pabst display. It needs to either be welded or aluminum soldered, and I'll probably repaint it to original specs. This whole lot for $20 from the same seller, who had hundreds of boxes to dig through.
There was more stuff, but I was already near broke! $70 later, and I felt fine!
I also picked up a hood ornament for a 56 chevy for $10...pitted, but still nice looking for my wall.

Tom you buy a lot of crap Kidding my friend.
I sold that same PBR display on Ebay for over $200 but it was pretty near mint.
Good haul. Also your post reminds me that I found something for ya at a thrift that I got to send to ya.

haha, thanks Liz! I'm a popkulture kind of guy, what can I say?! It seriously makes me mad when I go out hunting, because I cannot keep focus on just one facet of collecting...There are just too many things that were cool, that I have to get em all! And those PBR metal displays do go for a chunk of change! I've always wanted the one I got because I like to drink Pabst, and they are so cool looking! Anyhow here are the chair and shelf, I picked up today. can't see it, but the shelf has an atomic age feel to it, and has a starburst type logo on sides..
Anyone know what name style this chair is considered? I don't know much about it, other than the colors and slope were nice. The bottom has springs attached to thin steel rails for butt support. And now I'm wondering what Liz found that reminded her of me ...haha...Rubber poop?

Tom I hear ya on the mass collecting. I bought the same shelf unit awhile ago but it was kinda beat up so I spray painted it black.
Good finds and great deal on the chair.
Rubber poop--nah not quite--but it may have something to do with Mickey Mouse.
Dont get excited it was something that made me laugh when I saw it. Will be in the mail tomorrow.

It is a cool display case regardless Big Crappy Kahuna

If this is the case of name changes, then I now deem myself CrapTOMic, on this thread, and my living space shall be known as Ca$a dé ˘rapopolis...
BK, I just used 5 GIANT tubs(w/rollers) and cleared all my Hot rod/lowrider/custom styled HotWheels collection away. I had over 500 hanging on my wall alone on 10 of those diecast display frames, and at last count, my total collection was in the 1,500 range...I already had 7 smaller boxes and tub containers put away full of diecast goodies. I had been collecting HW since 1999, but unfortunately only own a very few redline versions.
Liz, on the tiki finds thread, that Trader Vics ashtray is sweet. I've been looking for that one for a while, but haven't been able to find one in an acceptable price range.

Tom, the cars you see in the case are all slot cars, except for the station wagon & trailer. I've managed to keep my Hot Wheels obsession limited to traditional Rods & Kustoms with a few vintage race cars thrown in. Til next time, I'm Count Crapula & this is my crap!
