I'm so new I havn't even started my firt tiki. However, I've been reading this forum for quite a while, and jsut wanted to share with everyone what I _think_ is a great deal for carving tools. (at least for a beginer like me).
My local Costco had a set of 12 wood carving chisles, with a simple little wooden case for only $14.67. So if you're looking for a cheap starter set, check it out at your local Costso.
Thanks Costco!

Welcome to TC Mister Sparkles. Now you've got these new chisels from Costso (my favorite store for free samples and cheap high end booze). Go get yourself a piece of wood & let the chips fly. There's lots of tiki manna & good karma here, so speak up as you go, ask all of the questions & post your pics. The more pics the better, 'cause everyone starts with that first log no matter where they are now & everyone here seems to like helping out the new carvers.
