I had the pleasure of going to the Beastie Boys show last Friday here in Atlanta and didn't know what to expect but had an amazing time.
During the show they had several screens set up for visual stimulation. On one sequence they showed a shelf of Tiki mugs and idols. I didn't know if anyone else caught this show and if they saw the same images.
Also, it's a small world. I saw Gilligan there! aka Seth that designed our marvelous Hukilau website!

The Beastie Boys are one of my favorite bands. I have seen them several times here in South Florida. I remember the first time with Cypress Hill and Rollins Band. That show totally kicked ass. That is awsome that tikis were shown on the screen, you never know where you may see tiki.

Just searched to see if there was a connection between the B-Boys and Tiki made prior to watching the video for one of my favorites, and it's not listed here...Check it out, about 1:08 in, Maori with moko...And some other spots throughout the video...
