Whaddryatalkingabout Unga? $65.00. That's not too bad. Err... wait... move the decimal... ACK!
You gotta think that the people collecting these shirts think we're nuts for what we spend on Tiki's.

Hey, I like Aloha shirts as much as any other TC'er or tikifile but 650.00 is absurd for a shirt. I am happy with the 11.00 tiki shirts I found at Walmart this summer. The nicest tiki shirt I own was only 60.00 and that was a custom Mai Kai shirt depicting Rarotongans and Mai Kai logos made by Cybertiki's wife.

There was an auction a while back for a shirt that went for more than $3600.00!!
Here's the thread on it; the pix are on the second page.

Great choice of words! If the shirt is worth $3500, I wonder how much the thread is worth.

Vintage aloha shirts are hot, especially the rayon ones from the 40s-50s.
A few years ago, the Japanese were kicking down big $$ for them. You'll still see nice ones go for a couple hundred $ up to $1000+.
I'll stick with my thrift finds and repros for now.
Aloha,
