I know there are other big Mary Blair fans around here, she's come up in a couple of other threads before:
Killer new art book: Mary Blair
Miguel Covarrubias
This past Thursday, I *finally* was able to squeeze in a visit to the mural between meetings, as I've been meaning to do for nearly a year now. This is in the Jules Stein Eye Institute, on the main floor. If you ask at the front desk where the "it's a small world" mural is, they'll lead you to it (I learned that if you ask for the "Mary Blair mural," you'll get confused looks and an assurance that there is no such thing at Jules Stein). It's literally a three minute walk from where my office was last winter, it's silly it's taken me this long to go look at it.

Humu -
thank you so much for posting those photos! I've never seen it in person - but now I'll have to get off my butt.
Mary Blair was just about the best designer of all time....
