As some may be aware, Bong has returned to school in order to get a teaching credential and get a job (and the Summer off).
This is just an update, to keep those interested up-to-date on my progress.
What I learned today:
A steel guitar anywhere within 50 feet impedes education.

Hey Bong, I'm finally taking my last couple of classes this year. Hating every second of it. Going to school is s**t but teaching is great.
Anything in particular? English, High school, Special Ed.? High School english is the fastest credential I think. The University system is f***ed and No Child Left Behind is ruining education, but it's a job and if you hang in there a retirement plan as well.
Hope you enjoyed these words of encouragement!

You're right Spy-T,
Back to school does suck, but you gotta just keep your eye on the prize.

Plus those little bastards will be running things when we're in the old folks home!

I always thought the ultimate parental revenge would be to go to college at the same time my kids do.
Most days, it feels like the little bastards already do run things!

Retirement plan, summers off (plus a few weeks at Christmas and Spring) and arguably a shorter work day make teaching a very attractive prize.
