Malls, Flea Markets, Farmers Markets and the Ikea. I seldom shop, but was forced.
IKEA is a Scandanavian giant store where most stuff is made in China...(in case they don't have one by your house) So popular it is, the the sick treated all of Berkeley to lunch...the lunch they had eaten earlier that day that is.
Malls and lines especially at the swap meet (flea market) were haunted by the suplery ghosts of christmas past(and worse "petuli")
Which brought me to my point (offencive as it is for which I appoligize) Does the whole world where you live feast on Cabbage and Kippers before Shopping? (not a real question)
(And let thier feril children off leash on this single day?)

Oktoberfest! After a plate of bratwurst, sauerkraut and three or four beers I can fart the tuba solo in the "She's Too Fat For Me" polka. Oops...I think I just soiled my lederhosen.
