I am looking for info about a mug
I can email fotos but cannot upload them to TC for reasons unknown
the inscription on this mug reads:
ZOMBIE calif

this mug has bell earrings and was discovered in Northern Calif

the only similar reference I know of a mug like this is the Islander menu pictured on pg 148 of the book of Tiki as the coffee diablo mug

I think this guy looks too stylish to be a mug (and too different from the ISLANDER menu?), I would suspect that in this case it actually IS a (as so often wrongly termed on e-bay) "head-vase" made by some art pottery place in California.
But maybe Bob or Leroy will recognize it, they used to go to The Islander on La Cienega.
