In the cheesy, cheap plastic bamboo category, there is the following Archie McPhee item:

I've found some nice bamboo picture frames in a local store, but they don't sell them online. Here's their website, in case you want to call them; maybe they could give you the name of the distributor:

I have bought a few vintage faux bamboo frames on ebay. The ones I want (still looking for a couple more) are wood and pretty narrow (3/8" - 1/2" diameter.) Try searching for menus or Matson Line menus as some of these are sold with such frames. Or maybe Bamboo Ben could set you up.

What's wrong with that frame? Get a few of those, light up a mellow hit, and PARTY HARTY!

There seems to be alot of demand for
good picture frames that simulate or
feature bamboo in composition for
lounge pictures/paintings.(It goes good with velvets.)
I'm concidering a project to mold /mass-produce original bamboo frame
for wholesale/ retail.
Any ideas for what icons are best for secondary accenting?(ie. Jungle Tiki ).

You can get the instructions for making one at the HGTV site. Just do a search for Tiki Frame. They also have other good stuff like how to make a Tiki Chest.

Did someone say bamboo?

I recently taught my 16-month old nephew to say bamboo, only problem is, he thinks its a verb and hits the ground with the bamboo like Bam-Bam and shouts "Bambu"!
