Hey all,
I am sure this has been covered, but could not find it.
I am looking for what to expect at the M Modern Gallery this Saturday night.
My guess is the turnout will be huge, especially with the LA Times story.
Is it difficult to buy art at these shows....are lotteries used...any details would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Usually when Tiki Centralites are involved, these type of art openings turn into big drunken free-for-alls. You may want to wear a helmet.

Scott-
Generally galleries have a wait list for Shag that is quite long, takes a couple of years generally to get an opportunity to purchase an original, prints are generally not a problem to pick up at all, limited edition items are variable. If you are interested in originals, contact the gallery directly. It takes a while, but it is worth the wait.
hope this helps.
